Aero skirts - FITTED PICS page 6

Car and new skirts at painters
£1l80 per side to paint & fit !
He says he is going to use black primer as grey shows through when they get chipped
??
I am getting it done straight away I suppose and he does a good job.
What do you think ?

I'm paying £250 cash to have both sprayed (inc. a small repair) but I have to fit them. I thought that was quite dear given that they are already doing a load of work and have the paint there. He clearly didn't want to get involved in fitting them.....

Thanks for that I thought it was expensive based on what others have said on the forum in posts but if you want something you generally have to pay or wait.
£405 skirts
£360 paint & fitting
Should be ready Saturday

I was £200 a pair (cash) from a reputable place that does BMW's work when they're too busy. That was supplied primed as they come from BMW. I fitted them myself, 15 mins per side max.

i had a rear //M bumper repaired (2 cracks and a fair few scuffs) and both skirts and 4 pieces of the roll hoops all sprayed alpine white for £440 cash from the best local sprayer around. but i had to fit them all myself (its easy anyway)

Well I think from what you say I am being stung, I was expecting it to be around 250 all in but there you go.
I wouldn't have the patience to fit parts myself :(

does sound a little high but i got prices from a few places and some were double.... so i think its all down to how busy they are, i told mine to fit them in as and when so they had them for 2 weeks but i got a decent price so wasnt complaining :) at least urs will be no hassle so pros and cons and all that

Yes the guy is always busy and he's never been cheap because he does a thoroughly good job. He has taken the car in with a day's notice and will return it on Satirday so I can't really grumble at paying 20% more
Thanks for all your help one and all

Kidney removal process first to pay for it

Look forward to seeing the pictures, like the skirts on black

I picked my aero skirts up from the spray shop earlier and I have to say they look great. The guy did say he wasn't able to polish them off the car because they are all floppy but said if I took it back once they are fitted he'll do them then....

Just got to sort out the wheels and the suspension bushes now (and the gear box oil and.......)

I hope it's been delivered when I get home tomorrow evening . I will probably take it to a garage as I don't have the tools to do the job unless of course someone has the ability, equipment and time to do it for a reasonable fee !

Feels like it too !
It's been an extravagant week for me indulging on a car that I've driven less than 3000 miles in since September 2013

Painter called to say car is ready and that the skirts make a big difference to the car !
Eventuri has also been delivered.
Busy weekend for me
