Aero skirts and mods (pics)

Just picked the Z up after having the front and rear bumpers sprayed including the front plate mount removal & a satin finish to the splitter. Oh and the aero skirts too. Dropped it at the detailers for a good & proper clean up and wax etc so I'll put some better pics up tomorrow :D

Those aero skirts do look especially good with a slightly wider offset.

Wonder what your detailer's going to do? Just a quick rinse and spray with QD while watching the cricket :poke:
 
Engine bay will be spotless tomorrow just for you pvr :P

As for it being detailed its just me being lazy. The winter LSP and wax can be stripped off and the new panels and paintwork can be polished, sealed and waxed properly rather than my ham-fisted efforts!
 
Absolutely awesome, aero skirts transform the Z4M, especially in Imola Red. Easily the best colour in the range. Not keen on the black splitter though.

In fact it's just the spec i'll be looking for in the summer. Let me know if you're ready to sell :D
 
Looks great - love the side skirts (no surprise there then) and the satin part to the bumper cover works well :thumbsup:
 
I love the skirts (sounds dodgy ...), but not keen on the front splitter as it misses the "closing" look. I like it that the left and right are connected via the lower part, whilst now it looks like they are "free hanging".

Just my opinion of course.

I know what you mean re "free hanging" I guess it makes the fangs more pronounced. I'm not one to veer off from OE usually but I like it :thumbsup:
 
I really like that.. the aero skirts def work better on lighter coloured cars. It might be "pink" but it looks damn good :wub:

Personally i like the front splitter.... all black kidney grills and you'd be sorted.

I'm not entirely sure, I guess it is just matte paint. I'll ask the chaps who did it for you tomorrow and report back! I just asked for a satin finish to match the brake ducts and the mesh grille. :thumbsup:
