Aero skirts and mods (pics)

F"*k that really sells red, and such a gloss.. Really love it when people change the splitter to black on coloured cars.. Get back in august and i've just bought some Zymol Concours wax expensive but i hope i get half that shine

Mate that looks stunning. Have been considering doing soothing similar with my front splitter too. Was going to wrap mine so I could swap it back. Really shows off the red, so glad I have that colour too. I vote against black grills tho.

Cheers all. The brightwork on the grille is staying for now as I don't mind it that way.

billygilly the simple answer is no, it isn't legal.

I removed the holder on mine and have a shortened plate stuck on. It's a private plate with less letters so is legal. Looks much better than it did.

Front plate missing = £60 fine, no points.

Savings on SPECS areas - massive. Chance of being stopped - minimal.

Except there are many specs that are rear facing now. Try the A38 near Lichfield for 3 permenant sets of rear facing, each direction spread over 3 or 4 miles

What do you want to see? I will take a few pics tomorrow

Got a private plate in the works soon "V8RY M"

More of a low-down frontal view would be good along with a front/side 3/4 shot! I'm thinking of a front bumper respray and numberplate relocation.. and I may as well get the aero sill's done at the same time

With a 5 character reg there's scope for legally fitting a shorter numberplate.. that's my plan

You can buy them from a dealer painted or unpainted (primed) or there are other independent stockists such as M-Style etc.

I decided to go for the black grilles now too as most have recommended, to "complete the look"

I also got a price for these as well as wheels maybe can't run to this mod yet as wheels and tyres arn't cheap :)

I assume there stuck on over the existing skirts.

Cheers
