Ha no worries Rob, but that is like comparing a Phoenix Yellow to Interlagos Blue...! Only kidding
Glad you like it though. Mazdas seem pretty reliable from the research I've done so that's good.
Inkey I agree, it's a pretty sound investment and a decent car, I think the only slight worry will be the mid-high twenties mpg but then if that was a real issue I would've bought a diesel Mundano. One thing that does upset me a little on the MPS though is the lovely oval 'Audi RS esque' tailpipes, on closer inspection it's just for show as inside are some pea shooters  But that's the only negative I can find, so far.
Glad you're enjoying the 335i, I think that's something I might look at in a few years (touring version) when I'm more settled, if not that engine then a 330i or 330d. Such a good looking car too. At least your 335i gives you some aural pleasure, the MPS won't be a patch on the smooth grunty burbles in the Beemer.
But yes you're right, I haven't really comprehended how much I'm going to miss my ///M
Doesn't seem real at the moment, but realistically I've only got a month or so left with her
Bugger I feel really sad now!
