Great looking car - I'm sure I saw those wheels (or similar ones) on Ebay for £250.00 a corner the other day and they were pretty tatty! Schnitzer parts seem to hold their value quite well, enjoy the project  :driving:
Cheers James
Looking forward to a good excuse to get out to the garage over the next few months.
No great rush, target is to have it sorted over the winter then decide whether to keep it or move it on and start another.
Bit like Stuart (Bigwinn), a lot of the fun is in the fettling for me.

enuff, agree with other's, those wheels do not suit the car.

Nice one though, the roof looks new

Nice looking z. Seen these wheels a few times over the years, and they look nice in the flesh.
Prefer 108s or the M 224s personally, but think these Di suit this car/colour.
Nice purchase,enuff zed

Funnily enough, the more I look at the car the better they look.
Who knows................. at the moment I will keep an open mind and if a decent set appear I may swap.

107 ellipsoid way to go…one of the best designs for a Zed…

On a black car? Think I'd stay original................. if I can find any in budget.

Lovely little car and yes... 107 ellipsoids in silver
Yeah,if going for 107s,Stick with Silver would be my choice, think they look best in Silver, especially on a Dark colour of car

The spending has started! Started small and two LED foot-well lights arrived yesterday as it didn't have any, but the loom is there and works. Nice simple mod.

Drove it down my B-road commute to Stowmarket yesterday and the shocks are definitely past their best.
Good old Autodoc are currently filling a box with front and rear Sachs shocks, Lemforder top mounts and Febi Bilstein Bump stops and covers. The whole lot for a shade under £400 so I'm happy with that.
Enough to keep me happily occupied with the spanners for a while.

Vanos and Disa waiting for funds to recover a little.

Happy tinker time. :D
Indeed.
The drive is gravel though, so it tends be Saturdays tinkering, Sundays in traction, accompanied by mutterings of "I'm too old for this sh*t!"
Fast forward to the following Saturday and I've forgotten the previous Sunday.

Funny how looking at one thing always leads to another issue.
Popped the disa off to just check it's condition before I invested in a new kit. Yes, it has a bit of play, so repair kit ordered.
However, to make life easier I took off the inlet boot first. Simple enough on the 2.2 without a sound generator.
Noticed something odd on the little convoluted pipe. Closer inspection revealed it was split and someone had poured superglue over the top to seal it up! Yee-haa!
Luckily I had the one off wifey's 2.5i from when I added the sound generator, so another free improvement made.

Great result :driving:
I love fixing something for nothing (or tuppence ha'penny at most)

I forget how old you lot are sometimes

Over the weekend I've taken off the marmite AC Schnitzer alloys and given them a serious clean up.
All in pretty good condition tbh. The centres are properly painted/powder coated (whatever they do?). The outer rims are bare and needed a fair bit of polishing, but they come up pretty well too.
Bolted them back on the car, stood back and looked and have decided they're staying! Kind of grown on me over the last week and a bit.
They're fairly unique on a Z4 as far as I can tell, and a little bit of me is maybe being stubborn and pushing back against all the advice to get rid.
Of course, if someone offered me good money, or a decent swap I would consider letting them go, but if not then I've decided I'll keep them.
