ABSOLUTELY GUTTED! ACCIDENT :(

The Z is still a good car, I for one never said it wasnt, but you'd rather have a 2.2 rather than an exige s?

Well since you wont be going too fast and with the slightly softer ride its probably good for your piles

each to their own- u wont be going that fast in what ever the garage lend u when ur lotus is in being repaired again!
LOTS OF TROUBLE USUALLY SERIOUS

something ull feel lots of as a nice z cruises past ur hire car :poke:

Where does this notion of lotus's being unreliable come from anyway? theres a lot less to go wrong on it than there is on a Z due to the minimalist design

Thursday its bye bye Zed and saturday its hello castle combe :D

Calm down ladies. An exige is a great car, but they do have trouble's, my mate's elise is always having problems, which is surprising considering there is nothing to it. lol

The Exige is a superior drivers car - no doubt about it. They're not as reliable, but at the end of the day they're not as bad as say a TVR. However as an everyday car., the Z is more livable with.

Really they would complement each other very well...

I will aggree that it isnt a car you'd want to do your daily commute in or your weekly shop  but when you get in its like you've suddenly gone to le mans, you are in effectively a road going racing car and the noise ohh :D ...the Z really is a world apart, still a quick car but you get leather and electric things and the still firm suspension cushions you whereas the exige you get a seat and a steering wheel, the one im getting is luxury you get air con and electric windows  but it really isnt what you buy one for, the same as you wouldnt buy one for say mpg, co2 emmissions, reliability

Did I say reliability? of course its reliable theres hardly anything to go wrong :P yes a Zed should be more reliable because engine wise because of its cc obviously 3.0l isnt being pushed as hard as 1.8l to produce 220ish bhp.

It just needs servicing more often cause its highly strung, a bit like myself

OMG it`s a banana yellow GRP bathtub with wheels :poke:

Joking apart, personally not a fan of TVR`s so I won`t lie and say how lovely it looks :D
Had a good in a Giffith 500 once, fast and hell in a straight line but not to my liking (handling IMO was poor)

Hi Lucy,

Sorry to hear about the car, I really am. I did this a month ago if it makes you feel any better:

:o It does! Are you ok? What happened?
Bit of a mess there. Hate seeing good cars looking like that :(

Yeah I'm fine now. I lost the back end coming out of a roundabout, my fault as I didn't have traction control on. I know what you mean, such a waste of a beautiful thing!!!

With a police car present I assume you got a "due care and attention" type fine?

I'd guess from the amount of intrusion the lampost made that you were going quite quickly then :P
