did a 640 mile jaunt yesterday/today & from my higher vantage point of the transit van i set about spotting some coupe's , , just to break up the boredom :(
result was total disappointment apart from 1 new shaper (grey E89) near Warwick services 8pm , scant reward TBH.
so coupe comrades ?
how often do you see the rarity of our breed on the open road ?
in my 2 months ownership i have seen only 1 commuting near keighley :cry:
 
Your chances of seeing one in the UK are much better that the US as most of the coupes when to the UK. I have actually never seen even one coupe on the road ever. There are none in our local club and the only time I've seen one has been at a regional or national ZSCCA events.
 
coupe's do seem a much rarer sight on the roads.

theres one in my work, as well as another roadster.

3 out of a good few thousand people isn't too common though :lol:
 
Spend a day in Fulham, you'll get tired of seeing the 3l coupe... You might even spot an ///M if you're lucky :D
 
When I was buying I couldn't make my mind up between a particular coupe and the roadster I eventually bought. The argument for the coupe was the rarity. Over the next few days commuting and trying to decide I spotted 4 coupes within 30 miles of my house. Until then I'd only ever seen or rather noticed one in the flesh.

They are rarer than most cars and much rarer than the roadster but a good game is spot the 3.0 roadster. In 3 months I've only seen about 5. See a 2.0 on every corner.

I see two regularly around Nottingham, neither from this forum. On trips away they're a rare spot. Once saw another stratus grey one in Norfolk, flashed him and got nothing back. Miserable sod.

Thats because he wished he had a roadster! :poke: :)
 
One of the reasons I loved the coupe when I saw it - it was rare. A week after I took delivery I saw another one in black in the same town and was really disappointed!

There's one lives down the road from me, and I've seen maybe half a dozen around Central Scotland in total. Where as roadsters I see most days.
 
There's a local coupe that I see occasionally but rarely see others though.
Not seen another ///M coupe in 4 months of ownership.
 
On the 250 mile drive home with my New Coupe yesterday I didnt see any others, v rare where I live too...Only seen one other around town!

What I did see was people rubber necking looking at mine!! :D They are stunning cars though and I feel like im driving a supercar or something!
 
i've seen one black m coupe ever, and that was back in mississippi on a military base, only ever seen 3.0 si coupe once back home, they are quite the rare sight, as far as i know there are only a handful even up for sale in the entire u.s. at the moment (less than ten), thinking about swapping out for an M coupe myself :D :D :D
 
I have seen 4 in Hull in the last month. Yellow one in st Stephens shopping center car park with a ****RAC no plate on yesterday
A 3 blue. !!!! One may have been. M coupe Not bad for Hull :D
 
Really...

I will check that out. Thought it was just over 500 coupes, just under 500 roadsters..

Hmmm, will do some searching!! ;)
