My Z4M coupe has a big flat spot or hole at what seems like exactly 1000 rpm. Typical way to make it show is to use the engine to slow the car and get to less than 1000 rpm. Then apply throttle. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a just a tickle or a big push on the pedal - the car picks up nicely, gets to 1000rpm, momentarily stumbles almost feeling like it wants to stall and then continues to take off smoothly from there.
Any ideas where to look? I can obviously avoid the set of circumstances that bring on the fault but in traffic that's not always easy.
