Depends if you want to be slower or faster around the corner I guess?

Why will a manual car be slower around a corner?

PVR, great photo

Or you need reading glasses for driving :? :D

ok, so checked it tonight:

3000rmp at 80mph (not 70)
drops to 2500rpm at 70mph

Off to spec savers

Sounds about right - the figures I quoted are factory figures and, as speedos tend to overread slightly, you're seeing an indicated 70mph at 100rpm below the factory rpm figure, this equates to a speedo error of 2.7mph at an indicated 70mph (i.e. you're actually doing 67.3mph)

67.3 mph, probably in the middle lane on the motorway as well

Yeah I think I'll have to change it springtime and suck up the hit, I've not lost much on cars in the last 20 yrs so in the great scheme of things it's not a disaster...much..

this could make a tempting buy

It's been a funny old week on the Forum this week.

I put it down to the change in seasons & reduction of daylight hours  well known for bringing on bouts of depression & mood swings
Folks need to find their focus & enjoy what is a fantastic Autumn

+1. It's perfect hooning weather, dry roads, no bugs, less tourists etc. Get out as much as possible, this is an exceptional autumn. And it won't last for ever.... :driving:

John, if the weather forecast at the weekend looks good, I may do an early morning run out your way again. Feel free to join me if you fancy it

If only I wasn't busy every Sunday now, I'd be thinking about a hoon. Maybe I'll pop out early Saturday this weekend...

It has been a bit weird on here lately... I'm just delighted sars has popped back up :D

Yes I'd be up for a run out OG heart depending, getting quite a few AF attacks even though I'm on beta blockers but I should be ok.

I'll keep my eyes open on here or pop me a PM if you have a run up.

Look forward to it.

I'm sure some screenwriter is reading this thinking "I wonder what Matt Damon is going next year?".
