I recently got into Zwift, which is a game for use on a treadmill (its primarily for cyclists on turbo trainers but they do running as well).
Fixed my treadmill a few months ago and got it fully set up - tv in front displaying the game from an iPhone, and a speed sensor so the game knows how fast you are running (the speed sensor is calibrated, the treadmill speed indicator is wrong). Other people in the game are real people around the world. Believe me, everything helps when running on a treadmill!
I have decided to try and run every day in June, and am currently up to about 6km in a session. So it occurred to me this is the equivalent of 4 marathons, or, 1 a week. Obviously, 6km isn't huge to some people, but doing it every day is going to get tougher, cumulatively etc. Oh, and the treadmill is stuck at 2% incline, which doesn't make it any easier!
I would like to raise some money for two breast cancer charities. My wife had breast cancer back in 2010 which after some horrible treatment and chemo etc she got the all clear. Then, in 2017 it came back as a secondary, in her spine. She's going to be on oral chemo for the rest of her life but can live a reasonably "normal" one. Due to the chemo she is immunosuppressed, and in full lockdown. I had to visit the office this morning, with full facemask!
So, the charities are Force Cancer Charity which are based in Exeter and offer support to patients and their families, and also Breast Cancer Care who fund a lot of research into prevention of breast cancer.
If you would like to donate we would appreciate it enormously, the page is https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KevinWhite29

I need to tidy the cables up!
