I dont think photoshopping will be needed. Gloss black would look awesome.

I've toyed with body coloured ones. Hopefully the weathers good this weekend and I'll be fitting the black grill with chrome surround. The other half is desperate to get it changed as he doesn't like the silver. I'm not too keen either. Ideally I'm wanting mines to look like any other Z4 not that a lot of people know what version it is just looking at it.
 
How about a black roof as well?
Agree with Mafoo regarding the mirrors. I actually think the silver ones look a bit naff and not quite in keeping with true pedigree of the 35is - although I realise it was an intentional design differentiation.
 
Twin turbo, good mines thinkalike,car booked in for tues for wrapping. Black grills arrived today :D

Getting them wrapped high gloss black along with the front & rear bumpers. If I don't like them,it can be removed.done my e86 bumpers carbon wrap & they looked great :thumbsup:
 
go for the black bumper lip too :-)

I don't understand that dull chrome mirror look, looks weird to me.

Would lose the Z4 emblem as well, looks in the wrong place.

+ 1 , for me the alloy finish is an Audi S Signature rather than a BMW one - car will look great with the custom black pack :thumbsup:
 
As the A pillar is black what about a black roof too? Or is that too much?

Also the silver accents on the front bumper air ducts... Think they look better black.

Actually, I've been wondering the same thing. In theory, you could wrap the folding roof in a sort of "fabric-look" so that it looks more like a roadster. Could look good. On the other hand, a black top panel on the roof (kinda like the AMG's) may look good as well.
 
I had my front spoiler wrapped in carbon but took it off after a couple of weeks as I didn't like it.
There's no real line to finish off to as it all molds into different smooth angles.



Just got the gloss grilles now and well chuffed with them.
