35is for sale

only if you are serious about buying it, it's being driven up to hand over to the dealer in part ex probably on Monday.

I had already paid for a colleague to take it up because I'm travelling for work to Germany, so logistically due to my volatile work schedule Surrey is now less likely. I'd rather covert the cost of your train ticket to come to Cornwall

Really bad timing, I've been looking for a 35is in this spec for a long time but out of the country until June. Just as a matter of interest what do insurance companies think about the mods? Increase your premium much? Doesn't invalidate the warranty?
Buy now and the car will still be as good in June when you come back

Nice idea but not sure with all respect to the OP that anyone would spend nearly 16k on a used car they'd never seen?

hi chap,

All mods fully declared (including the MHD specific map) going through keith michaels my insurance was £470, I do however live in a tiny fishing village and am very old and very bald

Based on all of my experiences thus far, the warranty has been completely unaffected, in fact the workshop manager at Ocean BMW in Falmouth thinks the car drives fantastically and he loves the exhaust note - I'm not just saying that, his name is Monty feel free to call him :D This was the same with my old e92 and e85 both of which were also modified and both of which had a lot of expensive FOC (less £100 excess) warranty work carried out at Ocean and Sytner respectively.

Interesting. Wish this had come up in a couple of months time, I'd be on a road trip to Cornwall.

Spent a lot more than that on my ex demo that I had not seen in the flesh. :D

You're a braver man than me although to be fair I'm guessing that was from a main dealer?

I flew from Kent to Scotland to get my Zed so don't let distance put you off. It is a cracking car at great price

Exactly. We drove from near Glasgow to Doncaster for our Z4 and to Peterborough for the X6.
Can understand if its a £500 runabout but not something nice.

A dealer yes but not a main BMW dealer. A good car is a good car and there are few about so you have to take the opportunities when they come along or you miss them.

Very nice.

OP, are you willing to post up details of the service history and confirm amount of previous owners? Or PM if you’d prefer.

sure, it's got a full BMW service history up until the last oil change which was just done by my local bmw specialist garage

it has 2 previous owners :)

Took a few more photos for the people who have shown interest via PMs, thought I'd share them here too, the car was photo'd 'as is' whilst on a lunch break, if I get a firm offer before taking this to the dealer I will have it fully valeted, no-one likes to buy a dirty car!! :)

Cornwall or surrey

Very good point, I was more talking about large claims, on my e85 I had a nearly 6k bill covered under warranty

It's not auc warranty, just the bmw-warranty from Allianz (I think) costs 55 quid a month, which is very good for peace of mind

So doesn't have a BMW approved used warranty ? Pm'd you as interested in this

It's the BMW insured warranty (not AUC), https://www.bmw-warranty.co.uk so the main dealer(s) just take your excess and carry out any work required.

Was a belter , amazed it took so long to go & if i hadnt sold my own silver 35i just weeks before you listed id have been the first on your door with the cash  :P
Onwards & upwards for you but maybe some regret over the coming months , they are a great machine :driving:
