35i - Is Here !

I like Black Zeds they shine up nice but also get dirty very quickly, what's the interior colour. And lose the blue callipers go for gloss black.

I'm liking the 224's on an E89, any chance of some photos from a bit further back? :)

Silver calipers all the way! Nice and subtle, I think they suit a black car well

When you've done the bits you want, you could have a bit of fun with the strut brace. Try the car with & without it and see if it works or not.

Whatever, examine the nuts for cracks and then make sure they're torqued right.
Good thinking - any idea what torque settings the strut brace should be at?

just put the socket on the nut and pinch them up slowly if the creaking is evident you will feel the slack on the thread 1/4 turn maybe.

The recommended torque (for a tower-mounted strut brace) depends on car model & make of brace, of course.

(A common number for BMWs and their braces seems to be 30Nm.)

Nice. 8) Interesting choice those 224s. I always thought the standard 35is wheels looked very similar. :)

Do you mean the 326’s Buzy? Like these-

I would drop the 224's in a heartbeat if I could get my hands on a set of those 326's  . But, the market's pretty limited here, so I'm happy with the 224's (for now...). Aren't the 326's 19" as well? Could make the ride a bit harsh.

The interior's black with brushed aluminium. I had gloss black calipers on the E85 and still have some paint left, so that will probably be the final result. Although, silver does look nice on black.... )

I'll see if I can take pics from further back after work tonight. Thanks for the photo of your 35i, I wasn't sure if my Sapphire Black Z4 was supposed to have those grey tones, but looking at yours it clearly does. I always thought sapphire was blue, but hey ho...

It kind of takes on grey's and blue's around it. The gravel there makes grey tones stand out more whereas if you park it on clean tarmac with clear skies it'll almost look blue. :)

As with any black it's a bugger to keep clean, I told myself I'd never have a black car again after the last one yet here we are

The 224s look great in those shots. I like the blue calipers, just like the M cars. Alpina also use a similar colour on their calipers regardless of car colour. For me, give them a ceramic coating and leave alone.

Greta pic and such nice weather.
4 degrees here this morning and raining but I still hope to get out for a little drive round later :driving:

I think I'll have to find out if these will clear my brakes! :D
