just put the socket on the nut and pinch them up slowly if the creaking is evident you will feel the slack on the thread 1/4 turn maybe.

The interior's black with brushed aluminium. I had gloss black calipers on the E85 and still have some paint left, so that will probably be the final result. Thanks for the photo of your 35i, I wasn't sure if my Sapphire Black Z4 was supposed to have those grey tones, but looking at yours it clearly does.
