My personal favourite 3 reasons why zeds are awesome - further submissions to their awesomeness welcome!

It's so cheap to look after...

  • Grand Total £17,527
Monthly equivalent after 4 years - about £380/month! :)

This is after 4 years ownership, assuming it's now worth £5500 and assuming £110/month on fuel...

My conclusion - everyone should have one of these awesome machines in their life! 8)
 
Sub 10k, which has its pros and cons....

Pros - Car used daily for short round trip (10-15 miles), she's still at around 73k on a 2007 plate. Also doesn't use tyres too quickly.

Cons - Car doesn't do many long (50 miles +) runs (3 or 4 a month) so doesn't get fully warmed up as much as I'd like it to. Also drinks fuel in town driving...
 
3 and a half grand on insurance? I can only assume you're quote young?

Mine cost me £800 at 23 and now comes out at £380 at 28 years old.
 
OK, was interested as your insurance is big money. (I pay £300 but limited to 5K miles)
 
All three figures are the total after 4 years - so 3.5k for 4 years of insurance. My last renewal was only £480 (I'm 27!) :)

The 911 is the other half's 996 C4, otherwise known as a 300bhp go kart with carpet and air conditioning....
