Reasons I don't shop in Halfords...

So I'm killing time in town, and thought I'd pick up a cheapo Bluetooth FM transmitter to play my tunes through the OEM HU before I upgrade...pop into Halfords.

"What are you after mate? Eh? I'll get Alan...he knows about these things..."

5 minutes later, Alan appears - clearly not old enough to drive, and probably still has the stabilisers on his bike.

"Here's what you need mate" he sniffs, eyes barely open
"Ah, but that's got a 3.5mm jack on it. Does it have Bluetooth"
Alan's eyes remain leech-like.
"Nah. They don't really exist. This is what you need." Alan sniffs again. "You having it?"
It's the wrong thing, and it's £30.
"Thanks for your help mate, I'll be on my way now..."

There are currently about 3,400 eBay listings for Bluetooth FM transmitters.

Are you trying to,tell us that those experts at Halfords do not have a minimum of 10 years experience working at a main dealership?!? :o

Last time I got a square number plate for the rear of Mrs R's Discovery they made the plate:

S5S
RX

Muppets!

Ask them to change a bulb or a battery on a Vauxhall Corsa.

Hilarity will ensue.

Passes an hour!

As they say, pay peanuts and you get monkeys. I bet he was on minimum wage, poor wee fella.

These first world problems really suck. :poke:
