Hi All,

I am looking at selling my 2005 Z4, which has MSport Seats. One of the issues that potential buyer has, is that they want an ISOFIX Seat. My question is then, how easy would it be to install an ISOFIX passenger seat (either from a FL or another option)

Have you got the airbag deactivation button?

bg1 - I dont believe it does, no - but I've read here on the forum that it's a 50 quid retrofit, which is not bad...

The passenger airbag disable requires the switch and the status display light that fits in the center console. If you don’t have the wires preinstalled you can buy the wiring loom extension

I believe the retrofit kit is no longer available but you can order all the parts separately.... and it’s probably closer to £120 for all parts, and will also need to be coded to complete the retrofit

I'm surprised you're even entertaining doing the work, it's such a daft caveat that in the first instance I'd have to assume they were taking the piss. If that's their tipping point as to whether they will or won't buy the car, then there's some very odd about their logic.
