Be careful when buying an iPhone. On Japanese models you can't mute the camera sound. I had this on my iPad and found it rather annoying...
True, its law in Japan that the camera sound must always be "on" due to the problem of upskirt photography on the metro & escalators! They even have signs warning people of the issue....
