3.0Si Z capabilities / Z4 No6

Another couple of hours out to the Dales this aft :)
I do miss the looks & style of my 89 but enjoyment behind the wheel of the Si is certainly softening the loss :driving:
The car arrived pretty slick with regards paint feel although peppered on front end with light stone chips
Spent the week getting on top of that with with Meglars Ultimate Compound & a DasPro , topped off with 50Cal glaze & 50Cal Pentawax its really gleaming
Also added a little aggression to the front end with the black grills / under bar + white sidelights
The heavily chipped screen is gash so AutoGlass booked for next weekend , in at my Indy on Wednesday for 1ns1 + anything else so its all good

Looking good Mr Wilks....super glossy ! The 50cal products are superb aren't they ? I am using the Glaze and Pentawax myself at the moment on my Zed. The beading and run-off is awesome too !

Had the glaze before & loved it , then spotted a £30 deal online for these 3 products , the detailer spray is really good for topping off & the smell of their products is also terrific

Looking really good Mr Wilks

Must look into this 50cal. Need to use up some of my products first though.

Are you just paying privately for a new windscreen?

Mine is also 'gash' but I don't want to fork out hundreds as it's liveable.

Its being done with a contribution from my insurer due to a crack which appeared over the weekend :?

Accident with that hammer near your car? 8)

Had a spirited drive on Sat Pm up to Malham then Gargrave for a ice cream , mrs w spotted the crack & i can only think it stemmed from one of the considerable number of stone chips the car had suffered before my ownership  any ideas on how that happened PVR :poke:

That will be two screens I "got" during that trip then 8)

So having now owned 6 zeds mr wilks. If they were all lined up next to each other and putting values aside, which one would you take home?

Without even blinking the E89  just a massive step up in refinement by comparison to E85 /E86 & that alone made up for any shortfall in bhp from the ///M or Si i had previously
I was considering another ///M next but chances are it will be a E89

Interesting what you thinking normally aspirated or one of the turbos?

I don't get too hung up on colour, engine size or spec , as long as it's been looked after il consider any

Does it not feel like you are driving rental / company cars though if you never have one for long?
