28th December - Ashbourne meet & drive

Ranski/CJ,

I can't get to the rendezvous in Ashbourne for 10am now. Is there a point prior to Buxton I can meet you? If not I'll
come up to Buxton and meet you at lunchtime.

Guys,

I am in Buxton. I will hang around until 12.30. If I we can rendezvous that would be great. If not apologies for missing the meet at Ashbourne - enjoy the rest of the drive !

I was in Buxton
I had a quick whip round the car parks - about 2ish
missed you
pity
I was hoping to meet a fellow z owner
I have never seen one in the wild.

original - was that your silver Z outside the Old Hall?
edit- as I aM too stupid to notice a dark coupe on your sig I think it probably was.

hi guys i think i can say every one enjoyed the day brilliant a good mixture of roads(including the farmers track lol) car washed and now in the garage.well done to the organiser thanks when you doing the next one, thanks ian :driving: :) :)

Finisterre,

I saw a silver Roadster with the roof off in Buxton town centre before I met up with everyone else. Male driver with wooly hat and female passenger.

The only photos I took unfortunately were of the bloody dent that someone put in my door in Waitrose Buxton car park that I noticed when i got home ! :x

Bad news about the dent there Steve

Only two pics from me, one from the off roading, the second to where the 'off road' track led to :)

On the brightside it helped me track down that squeak the car has recently developed - More so after we got our bearings, the roads (with tarmac) were awesome (thanks Phil)

Hope you all got home safe and sound.

Great day, fantastic weather and good to see so many of you. Just wanted to give to a different selection of scenic Peak District roads and some nice B and A roads to stretch your legs on and I think you enjoyed it.

Took a few shots, but mainly navigating and driving today:

Many thanks for allowing a 'lego' car to join in the fun :)

Phil's been an 'honorary' member of MLOC for sometime now so great to be able to twist his arm and join the Zed's for a change, many thanks to all for making me feel very welcome :D

Gutted to see your door OG  when we stopped by the village pool we saw an old guy just bump park straight into an 08 Focus, his car had every corner gaffa taped up from previous bashes some people should just not be allowed on the road... As JC says 'a driving licence is a privilege not a right'

Black MC - sorry I did not catch your name! - bet you needed a change of underware after leaving the cat & fiddle!!! Certainly made everyone stop and jaws drop... mine included!!!! All good with a bit of a wrestle at the wheel tho! :driving:

TBH of the 4 days I've had off over xmas this has been by far the most enjoyable - thanks again!

Cheers

Simon
