Hi Guys,
Looking to purchase the above as spares. Question do you guys use Original Bmw or Oem like Delphi etc also
for spark plugs what do you guys recommend.

Thanks

I went with NGK for both plugs n coils..not very often you get a duff experience with a Japanese supplier!

Having fitted new plugs n coils at 45k miles I couldn't detect any changes post the change..not that I'm advocating skipping maintenance..

Be careful buying of eBay and the likes as there a a lot of fakes about

Good point (droning on mode)..I buy a lot of stuff through Autodoc to try and avoid the fakes

No worries buying them from a legit Bmw parts supplier.
Btw Phondar are you using NGK 97506 silzkbr8d8s laser iridium plugs, if so any difference in performance ?

Thanks again Gents

Yup..

And nope..didn't see any differences..

The N20 engine unlike the N54 seems to be lot less demanding of its plugs n coils..in part the head design was changed to avoid the head 'cooking' the coils..

I think the standard n20 spark plugs are commonly used as upgrades for the n54 as they’re a “cooler” heat range
