2020 National meet,DATES/VOTING

As header,
These are the new Proposed Dates for this years National,Lakes and Dales meet
Given the on going Covid-19 Pandemic, and the fact that July looks likely to be too early for us to get free movement of Travel from out with England,i.e out of Scotland or Wales!!

As a result of the Crooklands Hotel telling us that they are not planning on being open until 1st of August,then we will Definitely NOT be able to get any rooms there in July any way.

At least in August/September, there is a 50/50 chance we Might get some rooms at the Crooklands,if not a greater choice of nearby alternative accommodation, b n b's,etc if we really need it.
I am hoping the Crooklands can give us at least 6/7 rooms for August or September??
We will need to wait and see.

The campsite is OK,regardless so I am assured, they will accommodate us

With all this in mind..

For those down as attending New dates are either....

FRIDAY 7th,SATURDAY 8TH,SUNDAY 9th AUGUST,2020

OR FRIDAY 4th,SATURDAY 5th,SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER.

PLEASE POST YOUR VOTES ON HERE,AND THEN WE CAN TAKE IT FROM THERE.
PLEASE DO THIS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS,FOLKS,SO WE CAN HOPEFULLY FINALISE DATES.

As I have given a week since Posting this thread,and also pmd those who hadn't voted until recently, so had to call it sometime.

Either for me - and it'll be the full weekend if we can get hotels/b&b, as I've realised I'm a grumpy git if I don't have a really quiet spot when camping (e.g. middle of Dartmoor/Exmoor is about the level I like).

I can’t make any commitment at this time

We are only alllowed to travel within our own County and 20km beyond the county border.

Reentering the state means an enforced two week quarantine, so until the restrictions are lifted I’m going nowhere unfortunately
