2018 National meet,Friday 29thJUNE/SATURDAY 30th June, SUNDAY 1st JULY, UPDATE,JUNE

So guess which idiot went a week early! :headbang: I blame it on tiredness from a teething baby! 4 hour round trip and 200 miles under my belt this morning! On the plus side that’s more than the z did all last year!

2 down, 2 to go...

3 hours for the first seat (including going to ScrewFix for 8 missing M8x25mm bolts, and drilling extra holes in the sliders that didn't line up with the floor mounts) and 55 minutes for the second.

No warning lights or anything, as I've got a proper BMW occupancy sensor mat under the passenger seat cushions, and the pre-tensioners are all in place should the worst happen.

Still think I need to get them dyed to champagne to match - but that can wait for a week or two.

Really should have picked a cooler day to do them though, as I really could have done without lugging those OE seats into a boiling hot loft this afternoon.

Just need the comfort test next week :driving: .
The reason I went for these over cheaper/other brands, was that I've happily survived a 1000 mile round trip to the Ring in an e46 M3 with the same seats fitted, plus one or two dozen laps of the Ring.

In fact I've lost a bot of weight since then, so they're probably an even better fit than they were.

However, as most people mention, that are a VERY snug fit for the width of the footwell (plenty of headroom though).

Hi Craig.
Bit last min .Can you put me and the Mrs down for this please.
Will be driving up sat morn for the sat run and is the barbi on sat night if so we will have some o that please.Booked in for sat night at the hotel so will be on the sun run too.
Cheers Moz

Nice seats,Tony.
Agree that they do need the centre parts done in Champagne,to match the rest of the interior, and they will be spot-on
Cars coming on well mate

Good to hear it.....just get as much sleep as is possible between now and next week mate(I know that isn't always easy, with a teething baby,my son still has teeth coming through and some sleepless nights too).

Just remembered why I don't like dark leather interiors...even with the alcantara centres, the car was BOILING this afternoon :heat:

Will have to get some Bacofoil on the windows :P
