2018 National meet,Friday 29thJUNE/SATURDAY 30th June, SUNDAY 1st JULY, UPDATE,JUNE

The food at the Crooklands is very good and portions are pretty large, I stay there every few weeks and have probably sampled most of the main courses! Don't bother with a starter unless you have a huge appetite!
They've also normally got a roast of the day as a special, worth asking when you order as there's usually a choice of beef, pork, turkey or combination of the 3!

Only two weeks to go now folks :driving: :D

Still one or two Hotel rooms and campsite space,if needed.
Get your names down folks,it's always a good weekend,or each day can be enjoyed individually.

This year we have something different in-store for the Saturday drive :)

Hope to see you all soon
Something different? I’m intrigued.

The food indeed is very good, and has never been anything but tasty over the years....
Though not sure I would agree that you don't have to have a starter,Richie.
I don't have an abnormal appetite,and usually have a Starter,Main and often a Dessert too :D

It is good though

All will be revealed soon,Brian.
(Probably on the Thursday night before, lol)
Just a different drive, but still mainly a scenic one,as is the norm for the Saturday.
Somewhere we have never done before :driving:

The different drive sounds a great idea Craig.
I'm meeting up with my copilot on Wednesday so will run the menu past him and contact Crooklands.
Big couple of weeks for me with my daughters wedding next Friday and then my 60th and The National the Friday after.
Can't wait. :D

Well, if the forecast is for torrential rain, then I’ll probably bring the beast...and leave the Z4M at home :P

If the weather's good next weekend, and I don't run into any issues (fitting them or having to work), then yes.

The Grupp-M will be back on too, as it took 2 cleaning cycles to get all the crap out of it.
