Remap 10 - 12 increase, induction kit 4 maybe?? Suppose it's possible.

Did you post your dyno before / after graph?

Plus one, I have missed you Jonny & wondered where you had gone. :)

Your doing great to gain 25hp , I takes me exactly 1lb of forced air to achieve 25hp so to do this on a n/a car is no easy task. Must be a very good tuner.

I calculated between 20-25bhp with all the other work i had done

Check what your getting mate, as I know a remap will NOT get near 20bhp on the BMW 2.0lt 4pot. Its not a tunable engine like Hondas Z-tec.

I had mine remaped, and then again a second time since i added bespoke Active exhaust, when dyno'ed it added 9bhp and apparently thats the largest gain they had seen on a 2.0lt BMW, there's not much you can do to the engine. It does smooth out some midrange areas, and rev's up nicely.

Even if you took the head off and massively engineeded it and the valves, uprated the induction, the fuel injectors, fuel pump and had a decent straight though exhaust minus the Cat and a race manifold (maybe £5-£6K worth of kit) then remaped on a rolling road should get 20-25bhp.

Over the years iv had all my cars re-mapped, and what you get over what people SAY they get is laughable, plus your cars BHP most likely drops over years from the factory specs of new.

I just put black exhaust tips on my 3.0Si coupe...I've calculated an extra 500hp... :poke:
