Now on Autotrader...

Yep, the guy was very open and honest with me. There was no secrecy around this and I got a price I was happy with so no problem here.

Absolutely - he'll need a profit, to fund a warranty etc etc. And to find a buyer first and foremost. It's all good, just thought it was interesting 👍

I don't see any warranty offered. Would it be included as standard?

If he is a trader or dealer which in this case I think he is then yes by law he is liable for any faults that may occur for the first 6 months from date of sale.

Fair play to the guy for his speculation , it will be a interesting one to follow but the seller will certainly need to up his photo game  https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202002277771165?price-to=10000&advertising-location=at_cars&make=BMW&postcode=bb120hr&sort=price-asc&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&price-from=8500&model=Z4&page=7

& i suspect will need to be under £9k before his phone rings

The wheels are against it along with a market saturated with newer , lower mileage 2.0 Msports that enjoy lower ved & higher mpg .
The 3.0i E89 only appeals to a limited market who specifically know what they want , otherwise the majority of buyers out there will simply be looking for the best car for the least money & right now the choice is vast in E89s between £8k - £9k .

Couple here for eg as to what he's up against with similar cars
