2003 Z4 3.0, Manual, Satnav, Limited offer £5600

Hi mate, just looking at the car. Really nice. That black and red combo is what I want. Just wondering have you actually been to a garage to see if you can get the problem diagnosed? Or are you 100% certain that it's the problem you think it is?

Hi No I haven't been to a garage, and I can't be 100% sure. But I do know if you put weight on the hood when its down the light goes out, which to me suggests something just needs a little tweak/adjustmenr. I don't want to exhaust any more money, time of effort on this car seeing as it being sold, and for what I consider to be a cheap price considering its speciciation and most certainly a lot of bang for your buck.

There seems to be allot of Zeds out there with far worse hood problems with this, and its something i feel sure can be sorted with some time and inclination. But rather than buy the car and find out after like I did, I'm just being up front about it.

Mechanically the car now runs and drives perfect.

Now on ebay with a buy it now of £6750 with a best offer option. I have no doubt I will end up with no end of numpties, so if anyone is interested please make contact before I open the flood gates to all the time wasters and jokers that ebay seems to attract.

its just not the market at the moment buddy as im finding on mine, unless you have to sell id just keep it and enjoy for a couple of months! have you tried autotrader? less messers and you get a better price for your car

Problem is the market ever going to get any better or possibly worse. I don't desperately need the cash, but wouldn't mind using it for something more usefull than a car sitting in the garage waiting for the if the market ever picks up. I also fear the market could get worse yet. So would ideally like to cut my losses bail out and put the money in the bank and use against my offset morgage. This is a third car and will barely get used now.

The Car market must be shot.! Still got this and for a limited time I would take £5600 cash for a v.quick sale. :o

Good luck with the sale.....it's seriously cheap. I paid double that for my 04 a year ago with only slightly better spec albeit half the mileage. The prices really seem to have taken a dip this past year. Don't know if this is common to the Zed or the market in general. But good luck.

I think its the market in general. No one seems to be buying anything. And poeple like me just keep dropping prices in the hope it will attract a buyer.

The Daft things is I dont need to sell or need the money at present, and I know it to be a good car and is virtually depreciation proof at this price. So part of me sais I should just keep it for a while. But I'm just an impatient person and when I decide to do something I want it done as quickly as possible.

would you be interested in swapping your wheels for my slightly knackered ones lol, its not going to effect your sale price and ill give you a couple of hundred for your efforts lol

Worth the ask, but no sorry, if this don't sell am I end up keeping it - I will end up kicking myself having some "slightly kanckered wheels". I am finatical about conditon, and this is currently a very nice example of one.
