2.5Si 2007 - was mine the first one?

Bit touchy

Where does that attachment show your car was part of a short production run with a 2.5 engine developed for Toyota?

If we'd have known your source at the offset, I'm sure someone would have pointed out how unreliable it can be.

For example, it lists less than 10 M5s registered in each year since 2010...and then also shows M5s with smaller than 3L engines (which there never have been) :P

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any source that's any better/more complete.

However, none of this winding-up, joshing, piss-taking, or sarkiness should reduce your driving pleasure...I get all sorts of s**t talked about mine (mainly about it actually every being driven again), but I just let it wash over me and then get my own back by harassing faster cars in a diesel family-mobile!

Having read this thread twice I still have absolutely no idea what’s going on :-?

The OP asked a question to which I provided a concise, factually correct answer …and there were a load of other posts in between.

Hope that clears it up

This was a short production run of the E85 with the new 2.5 engine they’d developed for Toyota.

What was the application for the N52 at Toyota? Iv never heard that before sounds interesting

I’m also intrigued. Imagine a little Toyota Aygo or IQ with the N52. That would be something 😂

A word of caution of you were looking at the registration data from howmanyleft.com. It’s pretty much all incorrect for E85/E86 Z4s at the model level.

Someone on here compiled a database of 3.0Si and M Models - going by that more than 25 3.0Si Roadsters were built before the end of January 2006 and registered in the UK, so somehow I'm struggling to work out what is unique about a 2007 2.5Si.

My old 2.5si sport was built Aug06 and registered Dec06.

There are less SE around though for obvious reasons.

I had an Aygo for my first car - would have been hilarious with a straight six in the front

LOL!!!
I note OP says he doesn't go to Z4 meets... Probably because he thinks everyone else is as sociable, amiable, helpful and knowledgeable as he is!

Was a good excuse for a couple of shots of your old car though.
