Can someone else who owns a 2.0L Z4 that has INPA/DISV57 have a quick look at what their minimum valve lift is running @ idle?
I know in DIS you can change it between 0.3mm and 0.8mm. It says that 0.8mm improves the smoothness of the idle at the expense of performance and fuel economy. So by that logic I've concluded that the higher the minimum valve lift is - the worst the performance is right?
Well so mine is set at 0.3mm but when running in INPA, the live stats show that it never actually goes below 0.5mm.
The car feels abit sluggish to me, it's a struggle to get a sub 9s 0-60mph run. Is it reasonable to assume - based on my previous logic that as the minimum valve lift is higher than it should be, it's negatively impacting performance?
I really would like to know if anyone with the 2.0/N46 engine is reporting 0.3mm so I can confirm there is something amiss with mine!!
