I have a lambs wool 'Wookie's fist' - was great, however to keep it in tip top condition you need to treat it like a pet and brush it all out every time you use it. This is something I cannot be assed with and it now has large matted clumps

Glad I've read this.....I just went a wee bit mental buying some new car cleaning bits and a wookies fist is in the order, so now I know how to maintain it

Nice work :)
You already know the shortfall,s of black paint Adam but once some effort goes in there are few other colours that look as good in the world of car,s .

Car's Looking good, Adam

I like the poorboys black hole too, did wonders on my black 3.0i also.
is that your works or house carpark? good for getting covered place to wash/dry then polish etc. That's something I wish I had, as it often rains before I get a chance to clay/cleanse/polish and wax :(

As said, black looks great when polished, and the sparkle in the black sapphire shines thru

What's that mitt you're using ? I am in need of a new one...[/quote]

Bing, I have "Clean your car"/"Detailed clean " Premium own brand Merino Lambswool mitts, which are well priced (about £11)and had for over a year now, which are both very good, and easily cleaned (I just rinse in warm water and leave to dry naturally)....give it a look, mate

I find these better than the Meguirs ones I used to use.
