Hmm I disagree the E92 especially is a lot less raw that the Z4M much easier to drive on UK roads and isnt really that much faster, much more compliant. Same with the 1M, the Z4M is much more raw than both of them and is a better track car than the the M3. Standard M3 Manual is 0-60 in 4.8, Z4M 0-60 in 4.8, M3 Competition 0-60 in 4.6 and the 1M 0-60 in 4.8
If anything I would say the M3 is the tamest, it is a different type of car much much heavier has a completely different torque curve with the V8, the the Z4M it picks up in any gear and headbutts the horizon whereas the Z4M you have to wind it up drop it down. The 1M again is different because of the turbos.
Had an E92 M3 and also did the M3 Experience day at Olton park and it was great but you could tell it was carrying a lot of weight. But the DSG was awesome compared to the manual on the track, I think the Z4M would be a lot more nimble on the track and the M3 would be no faster as the Z4M would have it in the corners and the M3 only just having the legs on the straights.
