18" wheels

Looking to replace my rather perished 108 wheels, preferably with tyres.
After 18's preferably Apex or something lightish.
Suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Still looking ...
I really think the 108 design suits the e86 but don't think I can face the pain of lamination after a refurb!

Where are you based? I have some professionally refurbished MV2s in SW Surrey that may be available collection only. Still deciding whether to spend the money on tyres and trying out 18s (my E86 has 19s), or to just sell them on.

Thanks, I don't do FB so unfortunately can't view..

These would look awesome on a coupe. Sitting unused in my garage if you want to take a look.

I believe that you need to hang them on your living room wall like the pieces of art they are. So nice!

Yes very nice, I am a fan of Alpina wheels but would want a staggered set for my e86

Obviously preference is preference, but what is the advantage of a staggered set?

More of a personal preference for the deeper dish aesthetics and potentially rear grip.
I guess the Geo as standard is calibrated for the staggered set up on a SI too?

The base spec wheel on the coupe was style 200 iirc which was a 17” square set, so all the 18” staggered sets were effectively upgrades, with no change to the geo. Also there is no dish on most of the OEM 18” staggered options - 107, 108, MV2 etc.

I’m guessing you’ll go for something CSL-style.

My answer would be "it's a sports car, the rear wheels should be as big as possible!

My advice to Zedebee is to stop trying to sell the wheels and instead go and find a car to buy to put them on ;-)

Hi. I'm selling a set of refurbished 108s with pretty much new Michelin tyres - 2 X winters and 2 X cross climates. I'm in Aberdeen so not local but I understand that transport via Paisley Freight is reasonable (circa £50). Let me know if they are of any interest.

Not sure if you ever got sorted but I have these for sale.

Genuine BMW and lightweight too. Fronts are 9.1kg and rears are 9.3kg each

Fred, I’m not far from Guildford and keen on these, are they still available? Thanks
