i went somewhere to get a quote to get my 108s done. ive had various recomendations for the place and have myself suggested it based on advice they gave me in the past.
im not very impressed with them this time tbh but thats not the question here.
the basic crux of it is it looks like my wheels have at some point been painted. i would say they split them as there is not evidence of them trypig to spray over the gap etc.
so they guys i went to said. these have been painted all over. the outer should be polished with the star being powder coated. the star should also be a dimmer colour and the outer is left bare and you need to keep it polished thats how we would recomend doing them.
now i had no idea when i bought the car this is how they should be. I really really like them the light silver all over they are as i like the contrast with the claret.i dont really like the 2 tone wheels, not my cup of tea,
so if i get them done can they just be split and painted all over in the same colour or is the outer rim just going to peel again (or was it just a crap job before) i dont want to go down the polished route.
