Exactly what does a cat D mean anyway? I mean if it's just a case that the insurance company has deemed it not cost effective to repair yet the work has been carried out to a good standard then what's the problem? The seller even implies that BMW still honour the warranty which is interesting - is that normally the case even after a write-off?
