9am in lichfield? .... against etiquette just to turn up ?

By all means, turn up in Lichfield, but we're going to be in Willington (at the services just off the A50/A38 junction.)

hehe... that was pure laziness, but i had looked up the link. if numbers are still confirmed etc, will extras be too much in the lunch event thingy?

By all means ... I'm sure the pub can whip up a plate of cold collation for you. :D

Just PM me your details.

-6 Deg C in Nottingham at the moment but dry and clear. Should warm up pretty quick if the sun breaks through.
Eunice and I should be there by 9am - see you later :)

Somehow i've managed to awaken after a rather heavy evening. Just going to try and freshen up and get my arse in gear..... i reckon ill be there for 9.30.

See you peeps soon!

Before I head off to dinner ...

Fantastic run yesterday when you take the snow, largely dry roads (after a few greasy ones in the earlier morning run) and a cloudless sky. Thanks to Spokey for organising it and great to meet so many of the forum members :)

Edit :

A few pictures and what a gorgeous day to be out:

Hey All, was a fantastic run - special thanks to Spokey for organising everything. Must say that we couldn't have asked for more with the weather and really enjoyed meeting everyone for the first time.

I also thought the driving pace/style of everyone (in my group at least!) was perfect. Everything was well paced, controlled and considerate driving

I do have a handful of pics and will try to get them up very soon! Loving Spokey's pics too :) Spokey - will you be able to coordinate picture exchanges between the forums so everyone can get them all - i dont know who you invited!?

Thanks for the great day Spokey. It's great to get the chance to drive the Z for sheer enjoyment.
Everything seemed exceptionaly well organised and the weather actualy cooperated for once, it even gave us some amazing scenery.

I think I need some more grey hair so I fit in better at the next one though  :poke:

Jeeper- please email me those pics (full res) so I can have a play :D

I'd also like to thank you Spokey for an excellent day - from experience I understand how much effort these take.

Pity I couldn't stay at the beer fest longer though, it was difficult enough dragging my not inconsiderable weight out of bed at 6:30am as it was - although the 60 minute blast across to Oulton Park blew the cobwebs away.

Even though I took my camera, I only managed to take a few shots as I was too busy driving or ordering J20 at a comfort stop - and dicing with chavs
