This weekend I removed 4 years of black tar from the chrome exhaust pipes, did the sound generator mod, fitted LED license plate lights, and converted all interior lights to LED.

After much washing, claying and waxing, my back feels like I've undergone major surgery :headbang:

On the plus side, my car is looking sweeeeeet

...after washing the car (no need for more after last weekend's waxing), went for a wee hoon and had a play with a seriously tuned black MX5 down the Headcorn Road from Sutton Valence, got a big wave as I turned off to come home

Got in Z , top down - wahoo !!, saw no other Zs only MX5s :thumbsdown: Got to Gliding club, went flying, :cpilot: Top down again !!, came home, did a temporary repair on the horse box exhaust,( brownie points),and then a quick wash, polish and wax of the Z, only just finished.
I bought a DA polisher a few weeks ago, and practised yesterday on the SWMBOs Skoda, was so easy, and gave such great results that I used it today on the Z, which to be honest was quite shiny anyway, however, with some Megs Ultimte Polish, and Ultimate Wax it has transformed it. ( too dark for photos This evening).

Gave car first real wash of 2012. Bought a new Meg's spray wax, seems to be pretty good, and a new hose attachment for washing

Nice blast around SouthWest London - few Zed's around, one black with black wheels, saw a nice silver coupe on 108s too.

Bought a battery charger from Halfrauds as am convinced my previously 'flat' problems are too little mileage.

....Snow foamed the car, power washed the garden furniture, and painted the garden fencing, Tomorrow I have to cut the grass and start power washing the decking. Roll on Monday so I can get a rest. :rofl:

had a fantastic day out pootling around with son until some complete ar$e tried to force us off the road by pulling out to overtake when I was already overtaking him. My son asked me not to explain his lack of driving ability to him personally.... I was livid and made for an unpleasant end to the day.

Best solution? Will be going out tomorrow for another long pootle
