    RFT Query:Please Participtate :-)

I've often wondered if run flat tires suck so much why do more and more premium autos come with them as standard. The cost of these tires can't off set the price of a spare, unless the space is so important. But then again, how much space do you need for Slime and a compressor ilo a spare?

Check out Detailers Paradise in Denver. Great products and real people to help you out. Most of the MINI Cooper OCD's are in love with the products.

    Clay bar reccomendation

Here is the story. Clay Magic holds the patten on the product. Everyone else has to go through them to put the product on the street. Clay Magic got real nasty in court and put the other one company that was making the product out of business. There are two main varities, one prosumer/home...

    Tire pressure caution

I wondered if I put the tire pressure to the factory recommend psi for the 18" if the tramling of the tires would go away. Set the front tires at 33 psi and the rear tires at 38 psi, per the sticker on the door opening. Doesn't make any noticeable difference. It still amaizes me that the car...

    ESS supercharge

Thanks for your reply, I find that interesting. I liked the supercharger, even the wine, on the MINI, but didn't care for the mpg loss. My Z actually gets much better mpg than the MINI did. My Porsche had a turbo and got 28mpg on the highway, still not as good as the Z. Losing 2-3mpg for a...

    ESS supercharge

gwatson, a question for you. I would assume you twin screw is belt driven as the super charger is on the MINI Cooper. The belt drive cost mpg on the MINI. What kind of MPG did you loose when you went with the blower? The new MINI with the turbo does significantly better in the mpg than the...

    Orange peel

If you really to see how bad the orange peel is, park it in your garage with a flourscent light bulb overhead. The bulb's reflection in our paint job is more crooked than a dogs hind leg!

    Vandals

If you park you car in two parking spots, you a begging to get keyed. Messing with somebody on the way to work, shopping or eating is an invitation for someone to key your car. Parking up front at a bar is a good invitation to get you car keyed from jealous folks. Sometimes I am worried...

My friend just got busted in VA Beach. Lawyer is going to be $1,500. Fines and court cost are going to run the better part of $1,000. Oh yes, don't forget Va's new civil fines, that is going to be another $750, this year and the next two. Going to be at least $5,000.00 plus insurance...

    Z4 Windblocker Comments

I like the way the Roadster Solutions hard wb looks and ease to see through. The factory mesh with the hard frame also looks good but probably blocks vision a little, and not wild about having to change the roll bar covers to install it. The hard frame mesh wb I had for my MINI was absolutel...
