I've had three strikes so far this year, 2 x pigeons (I like the way they eject all their feathers on impact :D ) and 1 x blackbird, all in the early morning in the dark. Can they see fast moving black cars?

I have RFT's on the rear and as soon as they wear down they will be changed to match the 452's that have been on the front with no issues for about 6 months.

I agree with Taz, i change every year and i guarantee you will always find a better deal than the one quoted by your current insurer. They just don't care any more. :thumbsup:

This is happening with my 55 plate 2.5, but it only seems to do it if the car is parked on a slight nose down attitude, as it appears to be quite a common problem, i may have a look at doing something about it, other than what i do now .......dont park nose down :lol:

I also have a can of Holts in the boot for my non RFT's, but why do i need a compressor aswell, i thought that the expanding foam from the Holts acted as inflating the tyre?

Looks a neat solution, however if it obscures your number plate, even partially (which the photos make it appear to) then in the UK you could get pulled by the Police especially in Dorset.

I don't have the spare cash for spare wheels and winter tyres. Had some many years ago when living in Germany and found one major flaw with winter tyres, if you're the only person with them fitted you tend to get stuck in the traffic jam behind everyone else that doesn't have them fitted. :(

My 2.5 Zed had been baking in the sun all day whilst at work. On the way home (really hot car) the Tyre pressure light came on, well i felt no change to the handling of the car and assumed....its the heat affecting the system. I too had the tramlining on my 2.5 Z4 with Bridgestone RFT's, however it has now completely disappeared now i have changed to Non RFT's (Falkens)

I have a can of Holts Tyre weld. The way i see it the Tyre weld will get me home if the puncture is not too severe and if the puncture is too severe then i'll get the car recovered to home, get the tyre repaired or changed. The situation would not be much different if i had RFT's fitted as...

Almost 12 years with this employer after an enjoyable 22 years in the Miltary. Was informed yesterday that i am now at risk of redundancy........not so good times.
