The previous owner had taken the whole car apart at some time or another.

As Bluestreak56 said, keeping the blade clean is the key to being able to use one on the car. The second it gets a piece of dirt stuck to it, toss it in the trash.

Main reasons for wanting to change the headlights are so I can have Angel Eyes and HIDs with better visibility. (Have not manually adjusted my headlights up yet, which, a I understand, will help with the poor visibility issues I currently have)

This is something I'd love to do... But without the need to put the key in. Have it to where you have an RFID card in your wallet to act as an immobilizer for when you're gone. Anyone know how to do that?
