    Yes it was leaking and I bought an original Z4M S54 pump. I had dried coolant spray on the side of the airbox because it drips onto the belts and gets flung around. It was also making a strange whine on cold starts and low ambient temp operation.

    Well, the bottom line is that if you can't pass a VANOS test, your unit has a problem. Every healthy unit will pass. Mine was in rough shape and still passed all the tests before I rebuilt it.

    BMW oil is Castrol in North America and Shell in Europe. It's all just contractual and marketing stuff.

    This removes or at least damages the top coat of the leather, so I'd not use this on a newer car. It will get dirtier faster after you remove that top coat. Now, on an old wheel it may be worth it.

    Is it inadvisable to flash a roadster with coupe software? Will that cause any errors with ISTA+ use or other modules perhaps?

    Anyone got INPA talking to their DSC module on E85?

    Even ISTA+ with ICOM Next fails to read my DSC, I'm not sure why but I have the same issue. Z4M Roadster US market.

    Passenger Airbag Deployment

    That's crazy. I am very concerned about the airbags with the age of these cars. If you were in the US I would suggest you file a complaint with NHTSA because this could have liability implications on BMW's part.

    Gearbox oil

    Ravenol MTF-2, works very well for me so far and has excellent specifications on paper, very close to OE fluid in viscosity but better cold performance.

    Which Brake Pads are you guys using...?

    Do they have good bite when cold / wet, and do they have cutouts for the wear sensors (not a dealbreaker, just curious).
