    Toyota GR Yaris

Just an FYI, the rear bumper looks 100x worse on the white ones, especially the area behind the rear wheel. It's just a huge great space full of nothing. I think the window outside my workplace needs cleaning

    Nearside Headlight face lift halogen

Does it need to be perfect condition or one you intend on butchering? I've got this one in my shed, bought it to use the innards and never got around to it. It's missing the top left mounting bracket and there are some scuffs/scratches on the lens which may come out with some sanding, although I...

What have you done to your car today?

First wash in 4 months. Still doesn't move on its own (clutch is fried), but it did need a clean as it was covered in bird poo and all sorts of debris from the bushes. Really need to get my skates on and figure out what to do. Strip it for parts, fix it or sell as is? At the moment it's...

    Scotland holiday advice

Been to loads of places in Scotland as that's where my wife's family live. Ayrshire is nice and some of the beaches are beautiful. Culzean Castle is a place I enjoy visiting too. Alternatively if you want to go East coast, we visited a place near Gullane last August and that seemed like a...

    Anyone else's Z just sitting...?

Mine is currently occupying a prime spot on my driveway without any way of moving it (without a manual push) :headbang: It desperately needs a cover over it, after giving it a good wash. I need to sort out the grass/mud area really. I think the last time I drove my Z4 was in November

What have you done to your car today?

Started it up and let it run for a bit with the heater on full blast, as the inside of the windscreen had tons of condensation. Then mopped up the water in the boot again :headbang: really need to sort out where the leak is. Can't do much else as the clutch is fried, so although it runs fine...

Z4 convertible front strut brace, yes or no?

It was a pretty simple bolt on job  you have the strut tower bits that use the oem nuts, then the horizontal bar which is inserted between the towers and 2 long bolts hold the bar on. It can be a bit of a pain getting these bolts in, but easily manageable with some brute force. The...

Winter tyres opinion - with poll!

The Z4 seems to be one of the more capable rwd cars in snow. I've been caught in 2 snow dumps with my Z4 over the years and have never had an issue. Yes, it fish tailed a bit when we had a dumping of snow (very rare for the South East), but it still got me home on summer tyres.

    Toyota GR Yaris

Considering you can buy this brand new for less than 20k, shows just how overpriced this yaris is

Outdoor car cover for an E85.

The clutch has given up on my Z4 and it's now far too cold and I'm far too busy with work and family life to mess about with it, so it's parked on the driveway and sorn'd. Only issue is the weather and bird droppings, so I need a cover for it. Unsure what covers are best, but it needs to be a...

Are wheels poking out of arches illegal?

I had 255/30 on my 19x10 rear alloys years ago and they were fine, even when lowered on eibach springs. I think the offset was 35, so obviously a lot higher than yours, but the actual stretch on the tyres wasn't a problem.

    Great Road

Was up around Loch Lomond way the other day. Went for a walk up Ben A'an, which gave amazing views. I've never been one for hill walking, but now I've done one I want to do many more

    Simota Carbon Induction Kit

I had one fitted to my Z4. I think it was for an E46 3 series originally. I purchased it second hand. Sounded fantastic, but gave me some issues with revs e.g. It would bog down between 1500-2000rpm, almost as if the car was going to stall. From what I read, it's to do with oil (from the cone...

    1 car 100k usd or 80k pounds sterling ?

Does it have to be 1 car for your household? If so, I'd have to go with an RS6 or maybe something like an Alfa Stelvio QF. Rare sight on the roads, looks good, decent size for a small family and still has that wow factor (in my eyes, anyway). If its just a weekend type car for myself, I'd go...
