Cat cars are a hard one as so often the images of the damage are not available and rarely have invoices for the repairs.

The Coupe market is quite strong currently with few manuals on the market and prices seem to be going up slightly. I do think we a decent price reduction and being put back to standard the above would sell

I fully understand people avoiding Cat C cars. Myself, I bought this has a Cat C car, the previous owner put a lot of love into the repair to a point I couldn't even tell it's been under any damage at all. I knew it would impact the resale value but I never really cared as I never planned on selling this car.

I spent months trying to buy one of these cars, you would find them in the wrong colour combo, wrong mileage etc as there is just so few of them. So when this came up that ticked all my boxes, I looked past the cat c and took a risk that paid off. I've now had the car three/ four years I think and never really had any issues and it's been a pleasure to drive.

Right now, I'm hearing what everyone is saying with the price to high and I think 9-10 I would be happy to sell still but if people are thinking this car is worth closer to 5k, I would rather keep my dream car.

I've had a few people mention putting back to stock, I can take the body kit of easily but I would need to purchase the set of standard wheels as I don't have them currently, then will have to sell my current ones separately. Hopefully I can find a buyer that likes them and this kind of modifications.

If you cannot replace the wheels, I would certainly remove the body kit and sell that separately.

I think it’s worth more than £5000 and I am with you I would rather keep it than sell it for that!

Deffo remove the body kit. That front splitter with the ties and the diffuser, is a large turn off for a lot of people I would expect.
Also the M badges and the oh so cheesy roof wrap with 3d number plates.

The bodykit will sell easily off the car, on Ebay or the Facebook groups.

There' a bulb warning on the dash which could be another turn off, maybe related to the headlights being older pre-facelift versions? I thought all coupes came with the silver lights (I maybe very wrong about that)

I like the wheels.

A 70k Coupe will have far more appeal if it's back to OEM or OEM+ upgraded. Stick-on bits present a negative appearance I think.
I love a silver coupe with red interior.
As others have mentioned, any photographs of the damage and the repair will help no end.

Good luck with the sale. I'm sure you'll sell it but you/the car may need some 'adjustment'.
