What’s my 35i worth..?

Just mulling things over, but possibly going to put my 35i manual up for sale, and would appreciate any thoughts on value.

It’s on 126k miles, has a few age related marks and the bonnet is stone chipped in accordance with mileage, the front bumper is pretty good as it’s had a 35is one fitted prior to me owning it. I bought it off a forum member in 2021. Engine wise it’s peachy, runs so well, never had any issues except a rocker cover gasket fail. It’s tuned to around 380bhp, which is too much really but I don’t want to de-tune it as it’s running so well, leave it well alone..!

I could return it to standard with all but new springs and shocks; but here is a list of mods it’s currently on:

KWV3 street coil overs, springs painted red as I hate yellow 🫣
M3 front control arms
Front and rear H&R anti roll bars with adjustable drop links
Eisenmann cat back exhaust, lovely deep burble without being obnoxious, barely at drone over stock exhaust
380-ish bhp tune
M4 front 4 pot brakes
M4 rep black wheels with new front tyres.

All the mods have done approx 3k miles so are in superb condition.

Car spec:
Sat nav I drive
Cruise
Heated seats
Park sensors front and rear
Then all the usual spec

It runs superbly, had a HPFP, clutch, it needs nothing spending.

So, value modded as is, or back to standard except for the M4 rep wheels not shown. This isn’t a for sale thread per se so I’ve not done all the pics yet etc.

Thoughts..? 🤔

At that mileage I think more than £10k could be a struggle based on what else is advertised at the moment. Definitely best to take off as many mods as possible and sell separately if you can - same asking price either way I would think.

If you do leave the mods on, try to make the photos and description look and sound as middle class as possible in mitigation...

Yes £10k is a bit optimistic tbh

£10k would still be cheapest non-cat 35i on Autotrader though. I'd probably be asking £9,999 and be open to negotiation.

A couple of years ago someone advertised a 2010 manual 35i with a stage one remap that had done 121K miles and needed a bit of tidying up and I don't think he got any takers at £7,500.

Which probably isn't what you want to hear! :(

I wouldn’t buy any car off you it’s bound to be a pile of junk! 🤣😉 Only messin of course. I still have the 35is I bought off you. 6 years ago, I think. Was out in it today… all good.

Not at all Mr Tidy, I’m very realistic about it, I wouldn’t have asked the question if I was going to cry at the answers. 👍

So @john-e89 how much do you think it's worth? You must have an idea as this isn't your first rodeo with these cars.
And you ain't stupid.

I think being realistic £6.5-£7k is its place un-modified Pondy, £10k is probably about where I’m at with all the aftermarket bits. In isolation how it runs and handles modded it’s worth £10k all day, but there’s the mileage hurdle obvs which isn’t really much for this engine but getting people to open the wallet on that say so is an issue, needs someone who is prepared to look past the mileage.
