Agreed some efforts to spice racing up have worked and some haven’t, but imo this new era is the worst effort of the lot. Up until this year at least the drivers, when tyre management allowed which was another farce, were able to brake as late as possible and go flat out without having to watch a stupid battery gauge which will let them accelerate or have to harvest, it’s complete bollocks. Save that for EV racing where it’s expected. This isn’t what F1 is about.
And anyway you’re just happy cos you’re crying baby is doing ok again…
@john-e89, oh I don't know about that, remember the fuel saving era circa 2014 - 2025 or tyre saving era's of 1998 (grooved) and 2005 one set per race. The last actual flat out racing was 2004 when tyres were sticky, durable and refueling was still available, but that was a blip of a season, before that it was really the 1970's and early 80's as between 1994 and 2009 cars were run light with two to three fuel stops and so most overtaking took place in the pits.
I don't dislike the current format and the racing between Hamilton and Leclerc was great, though more importantly cars can actually follow others closely.

Fernando has history for a strop. He moaned about his Honda powered McLaren feeling like an F2 car. If he had stayed there he might have won another title last season!

You heard of a guy named Briatore Mr Tidy…? 5 yrs ban from F1, Alonso…? No ban because he did nothing wrong.
The ONLY reason Alonso is still driving in F1 is because Lawrence Stroll is paying him mega money in his delusional state of thinking that Alonso can 'teach' his golden boy to be a world champion. Alonso is just taking the money, until Stroll finally wakes up to the fact that no matter how rich you are, some things just can't be bought.
The only two people on the planet who still think that Lance Stroll will be a world F1 champion both have the surname Stroll.
