Csl reps suggestions on z4 coupe

I was looking at both 6Performance DTM 18x10 ET20 and Ström STR2 18x10 ET20.
Both look identical. Are they somehow related or just make exactly the same mold?
Chances are they are the same wheel. I know that the brand "Strom" is just put on by the Chinese manufacturer (whoever they are) for a specific wheel importer. Happens a lot with Chinese stuff, cos they couldn't give a stuff about branding (although they are learning there is money in it).

I'm not sure myself, the ET's are the same so maybe the Strom's are made from a slightly better quality material?

I could be wrong, but when I looked at them, the 18 x 8.5j ET20 was too wide for the front of my car. OEM is 18 x 8j ET47 = 27mm further away from the strut, plus half of the extra half inch rim width = 27mm+ 6/7mm ish = 33/34mm.

The 19's would fit better? 19 x 8.5j ET35 = 12mm + 6/7mm ish = 18/19mm.
I run 18x10 ET26.5 at the moment all around. I dont like that the 19" are too big for the body. Thats my opinion but i do like the big concave of the 18x10 ET20 from 6Performance/Ström.

Just for something a little different. I was looking at APEX ARC 8 but the shipping to Australia was more the the price of the wheels.

I found a set of NOS BBS RC303 Square 18.8.5 ET 38 and put 245/40 PS5 on the front and for the rear I have 255/40 with a 15MM spacer. No issues and the 17.8KG weigh savings vs the standard Style 224 rims can be felt…

These are the 18s, assuming its a 3.0si. Plenty of images of what they look like if you do a search - as ive done it alot myself

These look good; that's great. To check- ET34 front/ET37 rear is okay for an E86? Rivas are pretty decent, yeah?

I'm a bit green about these things: is there any reason I wouldn't be able to use my current wheelbolts? And an E86 doesn't use TPMS sensors for its pressure warnings: that's right?

They look fantastic.

I run 18x8 et34 square on my Coupe. (OEM BMW 405m)
Eibach Pro springs with a taller spring pad to give a bit more room at the front (my setup seems to run lower then most others, for reasons unknown)
225/40 profile trye on the front and I only get the slightest of arch liner rub on really deep compressions, every now and then.
245/40 on the rear is fine, no issues
