dunno-looks like it's on stilts or something. Needs to be lowered a couple inches. Doesn't look as proportionate as the current Z4, either. Meh, I'll pass.

Well they hid the new break between front wing and over the side repeater well.
Reserving judgement until I see a quality set of shots of it and even better a real one, but I think I will like it.
I particularly want to see that front end a bit clearer, but fundamentaly it's an evolution of the Z4 that we know not a revolution like the 3 to the 4

Don't know about you guys, but every time BMW release an updated model my first impression about the looks is pretty lukewarm and I usually prefer the previous version.
But then after a while it's strange how the new one grows on you and the old one starts to look dated. I guess it might be the same with this but I'll wait until I see better photos or, preferably, see it in the metal.
As covered in another thread, unless they do a proper coupe version of the new Z4 (and unless it looks nice), I'll be happy with what I've got.
Overall it's not bad and I'm sure it will grow on me but there are some things I don't like.
The headlights just look a bit forced. the design isn't as natural as it should be. Same for the side vents, someone wanted a hint of the Z3 vents in there and put them in wether it needed them or not. With the headlights and front bumper they've just tried to make it fit in more with the rest of the range.
The old Z4 was defining it's own style, the new one is a bit too compramised for my tastes.
Will definetly go see one in the flesh when they start having them in showrooms over here.
