Rear brake pad wear sensor connection location

Post by Marauder1964 » Sun Jun 08, 2025 12:32 pm

Hi all, just wondered if anyone knows where to connect the other end of the rear brake sensor . Not the pad end, the other end. Is it behind the seat or maybe in the boot (UK car).It just seems to disappear and looks tricky. Hope someone can help
Thanks

Hi, thanks for the replies, but no box near wheel as it is on the front. The end disappears into an inaccessible space to the right and I can't figure out where it goes.

Yes there is you’re just not looking hard enough…only one location..if it’s covered in road crap trick to see..near the rear trailing arm pivot point

Rear brake pad wear sensor connection location

Post by Marauder1964 » Sun Jun 08, 2025 4:27 pm

Hi just had another quick look and my thoughts are that it's in the wheel arch liner . I followed the cable as far as I could and that seems to be the only logical place. I had the wheel off today but will look again tomorrow
Thanks again
