I have a Brembo kit installed on my Z4M and want to upgrade to the 437M wheels also.

My Brembo kit needs a 10mm spacer on the 224M wheels to clear. What is the spacing between the spokes and the brake in your front setup?

:?
I’ll do my best to measure this weekend

Hi, sorry for the delay.

In answer to your question, there’s LOADS of room. At its tightest (near the centre) it’s about 30MM. At the meaty part of the calliper it’s nearer 50MM.

tried a set on my M today, these are too tight when tightened up, rubbing the caliper. It would probably need a 3/5mm spacer to work for me.

in terms of weight, I weigh both stock 224 and the 437m front. the weight was surprisingly similar. both are around 21.6/7 kg with tires.
the 437m did have the stock tyre size of 255/35. so going down in size it would have a little bit of weight advantage.

Yes, so in the end i used Bola FLE 19s which works well without any spacers and they are around 2kg lighter overall with 235/19 front and 255/19 rear

Looks great. As you noted the 225/255 tires won't offer much rim protection so I would've gone with a 245/265. Tire diameter will still be pretty close but you have less chance of curbing those beautiful wheels. I think the F series M wheels in general look great on Z4 M. A little aggressive but the width/offsets work just really well.
