Yes, I have been hearing adverts on the radio for 'approved used' VWs recently. I think their interest rate is something like 14%. That's ridiculous, especially when interest rates are falling in general.tomscott said:That being said he didnt mention the interest rates on used cars which is another big factor! Im after a 7 seater and was looking at a Defender from Land Rover today and the interest was 14.9% eye watering! Made the monthlies as much as buying a new one.

We've just purchased a 6 month old XC40, dealer was offering 12.9% (high so you buy a new vehicle), so we used a company called Forza Finance at a more reasonable 8.9% and was very happy with the process. Though, the prove your identity, was a bit of an ordeal as was the impact of the "finance commission" on PCP/HP agreements appeal decision.

Supercars were never my thing but even the new sportscars have lost something. Maybe it’s just the older me talking willing to have the same feeling that older cars give? Unfortunately there is no going back to that with the new models.
