Ooohh, she's swallowing a big one.

I prefer my drinks 12oz. at a time and don't drink in the car except for on long trips to stay awake. Have used the cup holder about 3 times since I bought it, but now I am worried from hearing about all the breakage on here and other sites.

bingboybri, I think it depends on your country of residence, but they are optional in some places. If you only have blank plates, you probably don't have the holders.

Update

I went in the dealer in Brussels, they ordered a new one, it arrived and the fitted it the next day - pretty good service all in all.

Interesting thing I learnt in the process, which will make UK taxpayers squeel with pain. They said they sell very few Z4s (despite having a 2.5 roadster AND and M coupe in the showroom, out of a total 7 cars...), because they dont qualify as co. cars. What? I asked. turns out that youca can basically have any saloon as a co. car in Belgium, pay NO tax on it, yes, you did read correctly - NO tax. It gets better. you pay about 100 euros in tax, and you get an UNLIMITED fuel car to cover business mileage and personal.
As I'm the only british expat in a company of 1000 belgians, they all think the streets are paved with gold becuase of the Z4, but they are the ones with the sweet employment package.

Well, one of the cup holders in my 2003 3.0 broke last summer, and yesterday while on a road trip the passenger cup holder broke in my M Roadster - off to the dealer it goes! :(

I've read many threads about the cupholders breaking. I never use the cupholders so the other day, while doing some interior cleaning, I thought I would check it out. I was sitting on the passenger side and popped out the cupholder -pushed it back in and ..... it broke! :o

Oh, well. It is under warranty but - Wow! How often do you have to replace these things if you actually use them?
